Privacy

If you use the contact form, we store your details in order to process your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed. Our host Alfahosting (Halle, Germany) keeps server log files, and we use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection – technical information from your browser is transmitted to Cloudflare in the USA (in each case Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We measure usage anonymously with Umami, without cookies and without user profiles. OpenStreetMap maps load only when you open a map; their server then receives your IP address.

On the booking page you can ask an AI assistant questions. Your questions are processed by Microsoft (Azure OpenAI) in data centres within the EU; Microsoft does not use them for training. We store questions and answers without your IP address for 90 days in order to improve our information, and delete them automatically afterwards. To protect against abuse, we store your IP address in pseudonymised form for 24 hours (in each case Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Please do not enter any personal data in the chat.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, may withdraw any consent at any time, and may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Please write to info@villalaranjeiras.com.
